Here's a little something to wet your appetites. This is an illustration I did for the Oni Press Holiday compilation that never happened. Boo hoo. Gideon be Killedz by Teh Wooverinez

You may have read my friend Gideons Blog, The Wolverine Daily, by now, but he previously operated a different blog in which he had people and the random celebrity touch his belly... The blog was called Touch My Belly, oddly enough. I felt inspired here at work, and decided I'd combine his two blogs into one. Is this too much of an inside joke thing to work for a blog post? I don't know... but it is what it are. blog, blog, blog.

I've been nominated for an EISNER?!?!

Yeah, What? Wow. I've been nominated for an Eisner award, in the category of Special Recognition for my work on Black Metal. To those not in the know, the Eisner awards are likened to the Oscars of comics, and I'm incredibly honored, and excited to have even been considered. I'm not entirely sure what Special Recognition means, but I've been told its something like Best New Talent, or Talent most deserving of wider recognition. There are some awesome nominees this year, so I'm excited to be included in it. blah blah blah, this is too crazy. I don't expect to win, but it feels nice to be recognized. So many thanks to go around, but i think for now i will squarely pin my thanks on my Co-Creator Writery Dude, Rick Spears... thanks dood!

Damned in Blue: Process!!!

Inspired by the music video for Blashyrkh, Here's a likeness of Immortals' Demonaz. It's all in process, but I figured I should put it up here just so you all could get an idea of whats going on. I'm happy with Demonaz for the most part, but the background content and layout is giving me a run for my money, here are two that I'm working on:
